Ashley Wright
has all levels of horse and rider in training, from
Basic to Grand Prix.
Athletes, horses and riders alike, require tailored
training programs and solutions to build effectively
upon their individual talent, scope and desire. Accordingly,
Ashley develops unique, fluid, and flexible training
and development programs that are designed to cater
to each horse and/or rider's particular needs.
Furthermore, training programs are constantly re-evaluated
according to each horse and/or rider’s changing
requirements. A host of different schooling alternatives
are available including full or partial training packages
(including horses, or horses with their riders), weekly
schooling sessions, and half-day/day/weekend clinics.
Ashley
also conducts freelance lessons at other facilities
locally within reasonable travel time. Contact
Ashley for a fee structure and to have any questions
answered.
In addition, Ashley offers a limited number of schooling
sessions on her proven FEI schoolmasters. This provides
students with the invaluable opportunity of riding a
trained horse, allowing them to quickly learn to feel
what is effective and what is ineffective, or how to
ask for a specific movement; it also helps riders learn
to develop and tune their sense of feel and timing,
which is essential to learning how to properly train
and influence any horse.
Patience, the establishment and reinforcement of fundamental
basics and a positive learning environment are essential
ingredients in Ashley’s training. There is no
discrimination between breed, level of experience or
discipline. Ashley works with clients in all stages
of the dressage training experience: from identifying
prospective mounts for clients, to introducing youngsters
first steps under saddle, to fine tuning the final steps
before entering the ring.
