Care
At Grandview, we specialize in catering to each horse’s special needs. Horses, like people, are individuals and each requires his or her own unique program for success. Our mission is to create a healthy and happy lifestyle for each and every one of our equine friends.

Feed Program
• Specialized feeding programs developed on a horse-by-horse basis, according to their age, workload, condition, size, temperament, etc.
• Known for our specialized care for warmbloods (but, of course, do not have any breed discrimination)
• Seek out only the finest grass hay, and select some top-quality grass/alphalfa hay mix for the youngsters on as ‘as needed’ basis

Main Tackroom

Bedding
• Majority of horses are bedded on high-quality, low dust shavings, although select horses are on alternative bedding types on a special needs basis (such as peat moss and straw)
• In addition to the usual daily morning mucking of stalls, all stalls are picked out again in the afternoon

Support Staff
• Grandview staff have a passion and respect for horses, and each has a host of experience in the industry; they embrace every horse as if their own
• Host of other dedicated equine professionals that help our horses be the best they can, including our vets, blacksmiths, dentists, equine chiropractors, massage therapists and acupuncturists
• Clients are encouraged to bring in any of their own equine support specialists as well
• Horses are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; audio monitor runs from the barn into one of the houses to ensure that any horse experiencing trouble during the night is noticed immediately
